Pine Belt cities, groups unveil 4th of July weekend plans

\ July 1: The cities of Hattiesburg and Petal are uniting for the 2022 Star-Spangled Celebration on the River. Chain Park in Hattiesburg and Petal Park will have live entertainment and more, starting at 6 p.m. The fireworks begin just after 9 p.m. Visit www.starspangledevent.com for more details.

\ July 2: Laurel's Independence Day weekend fireworks show starts just after 9 p.m. at Sawmill Square Mall. The mall will have live entertainment starting at noon. Call the mall at 601-426-6320 for more details.
