Local man shoots at stepdaughter's boyfriend

JONES COUNTY, Miss. - One Ellisville man has been arrested for shooting his stepdaughter's boyfriend.
Deputies said Johnny Smith, 48, went to his stepdaughter's home Wednesday and saw her boyfriend there, and threatened to shoot him. The victim fled the scene. Smith then drove his ATV, and began to shoot at the victim.
The victim did not receive any injuries.
Smith was arrested, and is charged with aggravated assault.
