USM wins 3 straight home games

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Golden Eagles got a win Thursday night by beating North Texas, 75-65.
Guard/Forward, Quinton Campbell said, "We definitely needed a win under our belt. So, it feels good. My game can speak for me. You can only speak so much. If you're not producing, then no one is going to listen to you."
Campbell produced as he led the team in scoring with 26 points.
But, guard, Michael Ramey got hot in the second half and scored 11 points coming off the bench.
"I feel like I got open some tonight because they were trapping so much, trying to overplay everything. And, I feel like my teammates did a good job of finding me when they left and I was open for a little while to get an open shot," said Ramey.
Southern Miss is looking to capture another win on Saturday against Rice.
Tipoff is at 4 p.m.
