Christian Services give 500 meals for annual X-mas lunch

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Christian Services made 500 means for its annual Christmas lunch Tuesday afternoon.
The Christian based organization said every year for Christmas it wants the less fortunate to feel welcomed by its community.
Christian Services Jim Prout said, "When you do not have family, when you are just you and you’re immediate low-income areas, you need someone to say hey we love you, and we are here for you, and so we take this opportunity to warm hearts during the Christmas and the holidays.
Prout said the organization was excited to continue its mission in feeding low-income families during the holidays.
Pine Belt families and friends enjoyed a warm lunch.
