Head coach, Doc Sadler comments on playoff ban lifted

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Conference USA media day was held Wednesday.

Head coach, Doc Sadler was asked what it meant to him to have the playoff ban lifted from the men's basketball program.

"We all knew it was going to come to an end, but as we waited to come to an end, it seemed like it was forever. But, bottom line is now we're eligible to play and our guys are looking forward to it, and compete, and have an opportunity. That's what kids come to play college basketball for, is to have a chance to play in postseason play, and I know our guys are going to be looking forward to that," said Sadler.
