Christian Services celebrates 30 years serving Pine Belt

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Christian Services, Inc celebrated 30 years of service in the Pinebelt community Tuesday.
What began with $300 and a vision from God has expanded to over 600 meals daily, a men's recovery program, thrift store, benevolence service, pro-bono legal and financial counseling, along with a host of other services.
Executive Director, Jim Prout, son of Founders Bill and Cookie Prout, is thankful for the community's continued and consistent support.
Prout added, "Thirty years ago I would not know that we would be standing here today, but I am glad tha we are and God continues to grow it."
