Laurel, Miss. - The City of Laurel and MDOT are teaming up for a beneficial program.
MDOT funded Laurel $35,000 to provide transpiration-related jobs to people between ages 16-25 for the 2016 Urban Youth Corps Program.
Southern District Transportation Commissioner, Tom King said their goal is to educate the next generation about the transportation industry and that there are various available careers in the industry.
