Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Golden Eagles played their last game of the season against Marshall on Saturday and it was a thriller.
However, the Golden Eagles lost 108-106 in overtime.
Despite the lost, it's safe to say Kourtlin Jackson played a fantastic game, scoring a career high of 40 points, which tied him to have the fifth most points scored in school history.
The Golden Eagles finished their 2015-16 season with an overall record of 8-21 and a 5-13 record in conference play.
There will be no post-season for the Golden Eagles as the team violated NCAA rules.
