Jenkins receives 3 C-USA awards

Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Lady Eagles basketball regular season may not have gone the way Coach Lee-McNelis would've hoped for, with a 14-15 overall record and a 7-11 record in conference play.
But, one Lady Eagle did stand out amongst her peers.
Freshman phenom, Caitlin Jenkins has earned three Conference-USA awards. Jenkins was named to the All-Conference-USA Second team, the All-Freshman team, and the All-Defensive team.
Jenkins lead her team in scoring and rebounding, with 12.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
Jenkins is only one of two players in C-USA to average a double-double and is the top rebounding freshman in the nation.
