Willis named MACJC's Player of the Week

Poplarville, MIss. - Pearl River Community College basketball phenom, Darryln Willis, has been selected as MACJC’s Player of the Week.
Willis said "it's my teammates actually. I have a really good point guard. He's known as Dontellius Ross. He gets me the ball at my sweet spots and everything like that. They just get me open and that's why I score as much as I do because they just find me. I just pretty much want to win. I'm just doing whatever it takes to get my team involved, get my players involved, and everything like that, and just do what I can do."
The 6’8 sophomore had a fantastic week, scoring a total of 57 points and collecting 25 boards in just two games.
Willis is averaging 18 points and nine rebounds per game.
