Forrest County officials start their first day

FORREST COUNTY, Miss - The newly elected Forrest County officials were sworn into office this morning.
After a few closely watched races in the county, the elected officials immediately started their positions.
Forrest County Sheriff Billy McGee said, "Well this my 11th term in public office in Forrest County. I am certainly appreciative to the voters of Forrest County for putting their trust in me for four more years."
McGee further said, "We want to continue to bring the best law enforcement we can to the citizens of Forrest County."
The officials today were sworn in with their families next to them.
