Southern Miss online master’s program in political science gets high rating

The University of Southern Mississippi’s online master’s degree program in Political Science has been recognized as one of the nation’s foremost in a recent ranking by TheBestSchools.org.

The Southern Miss graduate program – offered through the College of Arts and Letters -- is ranked No. 5 nationally by the online resource guide. “The program is especially appealing to those who are employed through military or government service who are able to complete their degree requirements while on assignment overseas,” said Sayre. “The program is offered out of our Gulf Park campus and is taught by scholars in our International Development Ph.D. program who specialize in economic development, comparative political development, social/cultural development and security studies.”
