Giving back to the communities we serve

At Mississippi Power we understand the importance of giving back to the communities and customers we serve. Dating from the company's inception in 1925, providing financial support through partnerships and grants has been of key importance to making our communities a better place to live, work and play. The company's giving strategy guides its foundation, corporate and employee donations to the focus areas customers have told us are important. In 2013, more than $1.99 million went to enriching our communities through education, community relations, economic development and environmental effort donations.
